2026 Philmont Train Shuttle - Raton

Roundtrip or One-Way shuttle service is available from the Raton Train Station
COST: $60 per person Roundtrip or $30 One-Way
This shuttle is designed for:
Philmont Training Center Participants, Family Adventure Camp, Scouts and Venturers participating in provisional programs:
National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience (NAYLE), NAYLE Staff, Philmont Leadership Challenge (PLC), PLC Staff,
Order of The Arrow Trail Crew, Ranch Hands, Rayado, ROCS (Roving Outdoor Conservation School), STEM Trek, Philbreak, and Trail Crew Trek.
The train shuttle is not available on the following dates:
March 29 - 31
April 1 - 30
May 1 - June 3
TO AND FROM PHILMONT:
Raton is the nearest train terminal, 45 minutes northeast of Philmont. AMTRAK is scheduled to arrive/depart twice daily (one from the east and one from the west).
The Raton train depot is a designated convenience stop and may not have any employees on hand. Call AMTRAK for information (800-USA-RAIL).
