Here are some important tips and reminders for the registration process:
- You will have 20 minutes to complete your registration and make the required $350 deposit. Be Prepared!
- Grand Portage adventure is $13,984 per date, and a $350 deposit is due today to secure your reservation.
- There is only one grand portage available per date. If the date you desire is not shown, then it has already been taken.
- Sending crews on more than one date? A separate registration is required for each date desired.
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS PROGRAM:
- Ely base is located in Ely, MN.
- Grand Portage trips are subject to availability within the Fort Charlotte Campsite. Once you register your crew, Northern Tier will reserve a site for you at Fort Charlotte through the National Park. Once we receive confirmation from the park, we will inform you that your trip has been confirmed. Should there be no availability at Fort Charlotte, we will work with you to adjust your itinerary if possible; otherwise, you would be eligible for a full refund, including deposit or transfer of fees to another Northern Tier trek.
- The price of the Grand Portage trek includes the 3.5-hour shuttle from Grand Portage National Monument to the Ely Northern Tier base on your final trail day.
- Upon completion of Grand Portage, your crew may ride the shuttle to Grand Portage State Park to hike the one-mile round-trip trail to Minnesota's tallest waterfall, High Falls, before returning to the Ely base.
- Only register for spots you want/need. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
