 National Camping School (NCS) Registration Page

Thank you for your interest in Day Camp Administration NCS. As a reminder, to become certified in Day Camp Administration you need to complete all three parts of the training course:

Part 1: Online training module: Foundations of Cub Scout Day Camp found at: https://my.scouting.org/  
Part 2: Council-led training module, facilitated by local council leadership
Part 3: In-person two-day training offered at locations around the country

To register for the in-person course, click the CONTINUE button. Please have your Scouting America Member ID and YPT training date available.

 
  • Day Camp Administration – Late Registrations: A registration completed fewer than 14 days prior to the start of the school will incur a $50 late charge.  
  • Cancellations: Cancellations filed fewer than 14 days prior to the start of the course will incur a $100 cancellation fee. The local council will be billed for these fees. Cancellation requests must be in writing to NCS@scouting.org  
  • No-Show Fee: For those registered who do not arrive on the start date of the course without prior notice of cancellation, the full course fee will be charged. The local council will be billed for these fees.

NOTE: Your registration is not complete until you have successfully completed the entire registration process. This will include: receiving a printable confirmation page and an email confirmation, as well as, council approval of your registration.
